England to Prague: Days 1 to 6

The tour kicks off in Folkestone, where riders gather for a briefing and introductions before boarding the Eurotunnel to Calais. The excitement of the adventure begins as the group sets out through the scenic French countryside, a patchwork of rolling hills, charming villages, and quiet roads. The first day is a relaxed introduction, covering a steady pace to arrive near Metz by evening. Metz, known for its impressive Gothic cathedral and picturesque riverside setting, provides the perfect backdrop for unwinding after the day’s ride.

Day two sees the group crossing into Germany, where the roads become a mix of smooth highways and scenic routes through lush forests and quaint Bavarian villages. The destination is Nuremberg, a city steeped in history and brimming with Bavarian charm. Meet in Folkestone to kick off the adventure. After boarding the Eurotunnel to Calais, ride through the scenic French countryside to Metz, a city steeped in history and known for its stunning Gothic cathedral and vibrant riverside setting.

Ride through the rolling landscapes of eastern France and cross into Germany, where picturesque villages and smooth roads lead to Nuremberg, a city rich in medieval charm and Bavarian tradition.

Head east through Germany’s scenic countryside toward the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague, the captivating “City of a Hundred Spires.” Enjoy the vibrant energy of this historic capital as night falls.

Ride westward into the Alps, crossing legendary passes like the Stelvio Pass or Col de l’Iseran, depending on the route. End the day in a picturesque alpine setting.

Continue the alpine adventure, weaving through high-altitude passes and serene valleys. Spend the evening in a welcoming mountain village, enjoying local cuisine and stunning views.

Head north into Germany’s Black Forest, riding winding roads through dense woodlands and stopping in quaint villages. Savor local treats, including the region’s famous Black Forest cake.

Continue through the rolling hills of eastern France to the Champagne region, stopping near Reims for an evening of celebration and a toast to the journey with a glass of the region’s finest bubbly.
