The journey begins in Folkestone, where riders cross into France and roll through the scenic forests and rolling hills of the Ardennes. Winding roads lead into Belgium and onward to the medieval town of Bouillon — a perfect first overnight stop to settle into life on the road.
On day two, the route flows through Luxembourg and into Germany, where sweeping tarmac and quiet countryside roads guide the group deep into the legendary Black Forest. Surrounded by dense woodland and twisting mountain roads, it’s a true rider’s playground.
Day three continues south through Bavaria, skirting alpine lakes and mountain valleys on the way to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Nestled beneath Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze, this charming alpine town offers spectacular scenery and classic mountain hospitality.
On day four, we cross into Italy via breathtaking alpine passes, descending into South Tyrol and the Dolomites. The dramatic limestone peaks and flowing mountain roads provide some of the finest riding in Europe as we arrive in Bolzano.
Day five offers a well-earned rest day or optional ride-out in the Dolomites. Riders can relax in town or tackle legendary passes such as Stelvio, Sella, Gardena, and Pordoi — a bucket-list day of world-class mountain riding.
Leaving the Dolomites behind, day six takes us east through northern Italy and into Slovenia. Alpine scenery gives way to emerald lakes and rolling countryside as we arrive at the fairytale setting of Lake Bled.
Day seven heads south into Bosnia & Herzegovina, following quiet backroads and river valleys into the pristine landscapes of Una National Park. Waterfalls, forests, and crystal-clear rivers define this untouched corner of the Balkans.
On day eight, the ride continues through scenic mountain routes toward Mostar. The afternoon is free to explore the city’s Ottoman bridge, historic old town, and lively riverside cafés.
Day nine is a relaxed ride into Montenegro, descending toward the stunning Bay of Kotor. Surrounded by towering mountains and medieval walls, this Adriatic jewel offers one of the most beautiful coastal settings in Europe.
Day ten takes us into Albania and the remote Theth Valley. Narrow mountain roads and dramatic landscapes lead us deep into one of the Balkans’ wildest regions, where traditional villages and rugged scenery dominate.
On day eleven, we cross borders and mountain ranges en route to Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia. Ancient monasteries, shimmering waters, and a vibrant lakeside atmosphere await.
Day twelve is a rest day in Ohrid, offering time to explore the old town, enjoy boat trips on the lake, visit historic churches, or simply unwind beside the water.
Day thirteen sees us ride west back into Albania toward Berat, a UNESCO-listed town famous for its hillside Ottoman houses and historic fortress.
On day fourteen, a short ride brings us to the coast for an Adriatic ferry crossing back to Italy. An overnight sailing delivers us to Bari, marking the transition from the Balkans to southern Europe.
Day fifteen climbs into Italy’s Abruzzo mountains, following quiet, winding roads to the traditional mountain village of Pescocostanzo.
Day sixteen flows through rolling hills and scenic valleys into Tuscany, arriving in the Renaissance gem of Pienza, overlooking the Val d’Orcia.
A shorter ride on day seventeen leads us through classic Tuscan backroads to Lucca, a beautifully preserved walled city.
Day eighteen is a rest day in Lucca, perfect for exploring the city, cycling the walls, visiting Pisa or Florence, or enjoying relaxed Italian dining.
Day nineteen is a spectacular ride north through the Apennines and into the Alps, climbing toward Courmayeur beneath the towering peaks of Mont Blanc.
On day twenty, we cross back into France, descending from the high mountains into the vineyards of Burgundy and arriving in Dijon.
Day twenty-one continues through rolling countryside and Champagne country to the historic city of Reims.
The final day brings us back through northern France to Folkestone, where we cross back into the UK and say our goodbyes after an unforgettable continental adventure.
