The 2028 programme is where Wild Roads goes further north than we ever have, and then further again. At the head of it sits The Wild Arctic Odyssey — twenty-two days from Travemünde up through Finland and Norway to the North Cape, back down through the Lofoten Islands, the Atlantic Ocean Road and Geiranger, finishing in Oldenburg on 13 July 2028. It is the same kind of trip we have always run: small groups of eight to twelve, me leading, real mountain and coastal roads, no motorway slogs, and a proper bed and a decent breakfast every night.
Booking for 2028 is open now, and early bookers get first call on the departures we add through the year. A £2,000 deposit holds your place and the balance isn't due until 120 days before you ride. A deposit of £2,000 secures your spot on a 2028 departure. That's what lets me book the hotels, the ferries and the cabins early, when the good ones are still available.
The full balance isn't due until 120 days before departure — 23 February 2028 for the Arctic run. Plenty of time to sort the bike, the kit and the time off.
Change your mind more than 30 days before departure and you get a full refund less the processing fee. Inside 30 days it's non-refundable, so travel insurance is always worth it.
